Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and how it is used. It applies only to drcamiloortiz.com.
Effective date: October 2026
What this site collects
This website has no sign-up forms, contact forms, or accounts, so I do not ask you to enter any personal information here. Like most websites, it still collects some information automatically:
- Server logs. The site is hosted by Squarespace. Its servers record standard technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and the time of your visit.
- Cookies and analytics. Squarespace sets basic cookies needed to run the site and collects visitor statistics (for example, page views and referring sites). I see these only as summary reports. This site does not use advertising or retargeting trackers.
You can read how Squarespace handles this data in the Squarespace Privacy Policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Third-party content
- Healthgrades. A Healthgrades review badge loads from Healthgrades' servers, which can receive your IP address, browser details, and the address of the page you are viewing.
- YouTube. The Research & Media page embeds YouTube videos. YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect usage data when those videos load or play.
- Fonts. Web fonts load from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, which receive standard technical request data.
These companies handle that data under their own privacy policies. Links to other websites (articles, books, my practice's site) are governed by those sites' policies.
How information is used
Site statistics are used only to understand how the site is used and to keep it working. I do not sell visitor information.
This site is not for clinical communication
Please do not send health information, symptoms, or other clinical details through this website or by email. Email is not a secure way to share private health information. Visiting this site or contacting me does not create a therapist–client relationship.
